Saints Row: Undercover, originally titled Saints Row: The Fall, is a story-focussed game in the Saints Row series by Volition, for the Sony PlayStation Portable.Originally cancelled after being in development in 2009, the game was eventually released free of charge by Volition in 2016, in ISO format through the Web-site Unseen64. Savage Entertainment was brought in to work on the PSP version, but after a short playable prototype was created, and multiple reviews later, Volition decided the game wasn’t up to their internal standards, and thus, the game was never released. The main story was 20 missions long, featured the usual array of Saints Row weaponry, included four cribs, and even had co-op. In it, players assumed the role of a cop tasked with bringing down the Saints, who would later end up joining them. Undercover was set between the events of the first Saints Row and Saints Row 2 games (note: I’m not using the word “pre-sequel”).
